Objectifs

Part 1 (Michel Kalika):
The course Information Technology aims to study the role of the innovation technology, especially numeric, on the definition of company strategy.

Part 2 (Grégory d'Hahan):
Project Management Fundmentals: the course will provide basis information about key concepts of Project Management, being considered as an organizational model by itself in the enterprise.
More specifically we will cover notions of Charter and Project Plan, Lifecycle, Scheduling, Human Resource planning, Communication, Risk management and Cost.

TEACHING METHODS

Part 1 (Michel Kalika):
The course is based on the principle that knowledge in Executive Education needs to be useful to managers and applicable to their own companies. The course aims to create the opportunity for implementation of the concepts and tools presented in the course. To achieve this pedagogical objective, two exercises are employed.

1- Student presentations of the articles to read before the courses, presentation of the key concepts, application of these key concepts to their companies.
2- Group Analysis of cases of companies affected by the IT challenge.

Part 2 (Grégory d'Hahan):
Slides and printed handouts, knowledge sharing about real cases, practical exercises
