Goals

The module aims to provide students with a general introduction to the non-profit sector, with specific reference to International organisations. The module examines classical management dimensions applied to International Organisations , covering the following areas : governance, strategic planning and partnerships, programme and project delivery, human and financial ressources management.

  • Understanding the landscape in which international organisations operate
  • Understanding the distinct features of management in the non-profit (as opposed to the private) sector.

  • Learning different management approaches used in the non-profit sector
  • Learning to apply appropriate management practices to better address challenges met by International Organisations
