International: a short programme at iaelyon with Baruch College and the University of North Carolina Charlotte

Evènement | December 11, 2018

As part of its 2019 International Week, iaelyon will be welcoming a group of students from Baruch College – University of New York and a second group from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for its short programme “International Business Practices and Policies: a European Perspective.”

Taking place from January 4th to 18th, this programme will be an opportunity to strengthen the pre-existing close ties between iaelyon and its two historical partners.  Although this will be a first edition for UNCC students, various Baruch College students have been participating since 2013.

Immersion trip

Participants, students and professionals in executive education will take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the specificities of doing business in Europe thanks to two seminars that will be provided by international lecturers.

They will also have the opportunity to discover domestic businesses and meet with emblematic companies from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, such as Renault Trucks or Capsa.

This trip is also an immersion in French culture at every level: guided visit of Lyon’s “traboules” (passageways typical of the region), a glance at Second World War local history at the Resistance museum, a bit of French gastronomy, a Beaujolais wine tasting session…

We thank all the partners involved in this project and wish the participants a beautiful experience in Lyon.
