Bruno Rousset was elected as the Chairman of the IAE Lyon Board in June 28, 2012. He succeeds Xavier Riescher, CEO of the Panzani Group, who has been chairing the Board since June 2009 in the objective of pursuing the development of the IAE Lyon and of advising the Institution in its strategy.
Bruno Rousset graduated in Management and Marketing then in CPA before choosing to specialize in Insurance. He began his career in 1978 at the Mutualité Française. In 1979, he joined the Lyon Pension and Social Insurance Group Upese (Union for Social Insurance of South-East Companies) and was responsible for social insurance before becoming Vice-President.
Bruno Roussset founded the insurance company named “April” in 1988 and the private equity Group Evolem, in 1996 aiming to foster companies’ growth.
In 2006, Bruno Rousset entered the field of micro-insurance and created the Foundation for Entrepreneurs in the City which aimed at developing a solidarity network between insurance professionals and precarious business-starters.
