The IAE Network includes 31 institutes which deliver more than 800 degrees and represent 40,000 students and 1,200 lecturers and lecturer-researchers together with more than 6,000 expert practitioners.

The new management team aims to make the IAE, University Business Schools, stand out as the Business School brand within French Public Higher Education. 
Serving as an educational space for innovation and a think-tank on management and business practices, the IAE Network also needs to be a proactive partner who can bear on national and European authorities in charge of regulating Higher Education and promoting Management.
The defended vision is also part of an attempt to support and assist IAE’s Deans in their missions and in their diversity on the basis of a common set of shared values. Finally, the network will strengthen its role as international representative and promoter of IAE’s activities.
In a period of radical structural transformations within the French University sector and the Management Education and Research areas, IAE play a more and more central part within French Higher Education. By establishing numerous links between Education, Research and Business Practices, they meet a wide range of social demands and company needs while raising questions and giving sense and meaning. IAE act together in promoting their acknowledged Business School model within French Universities. 
United in their aim to gain Qualicert quality certification at national level and for some in the achievement of successfully completed projects or projects in the process of international accreditation, the IAE provide a reference and a standard of excellence while demonstrating that Higher Education fulfills its public service mission. 
Anchored in the diversity of situations within their territories, IAE are regularly recognized for their excellent professional integration rate. Associated with 32 scientific research laboratories, they very actively support research in the field of Management Science.
 

A new bureau

This election was the opportunity to elect a new bureau in order to implement the above-mentioned strategy.
Thus, Arnaud Thauvron, Dean of IAE Gustave-Eiffel, has become Vice-President responsible for “Development, Strategy and Education”; Laurent Bironneau, Dean of IGR-IAE Rennes has become Vice-President responsible for  “Quality and Accreditation”, as well as Network Treasurer; Grégory Wegmann, Dean of IAE Dijon, was appointed Vice-President responsible for  “International Activities”. Isabelle Barth, General Director of EM Strasbourg was appointed “Delegate for Research”, and Fabrice Le Vigoureux, Dean of IAE Caen, has become Special Adviser for “Distance learning”. Sarah Lempereur has become Network Executive Director.
