Objectifs

This course is designed to enable students to understand how the multiple forms and stages of communication are impacted by culture, and to equip them so that they can adapt and communicate more effectively in the global village that is today’s diversified management and working environment.

  • Ability to critically analyse classical cultural models

  • Ability to apply theory to practise in specific intercultural business tasks such as conflict resolution, negotiation, leading teams, and marketing

Written exam based on course content. Mix of short and essay-type questions. (65% of final mark)

Continuing Examination
Individual and group presentation of research on an intercultural communication business issue. (35% of final mark)
