2018 iaelyon Business Game: innovation under the spotlight

The 6th edition of iaelyon Business Game will take place on the Manufacture des Tabacs Campus on Friday February 9th and Saturday 10th. This event is designed and organized by the student organization That’s iaelyon.

New edition, new format

For the 2018 edition, the challenge will be organized over 2 days. The focus of the conferences, playful workshops, simulation games and case studies will be “entrepreneurship and innovation”.

These two days aim at optimizing the results of a company that produces and sells innovating products and to define the overall development strategy for the coming years.

Build your team, imagine a product, conquer a market

Split in teams of 4 or 5 members, students will make strategic decisions in different fields such as finance, marketing, human resources, commerce and accountancy in order to launch an innovative product on a virtual market. Students will then work on real cases and will present in teams the result of their work to a jury made of executives.

Corentin MARION, a student in the second year of the Master’s in Entrepreneurship and development of new companies who took part in the previous edition explains “The Business Game combines challenge, team spirit, competition and fun. The event gathers students from different environments in order to get the best results all the while developing values such as exchanging and sharing.”

A prestigious location for the award ceremony

The Business Game will end with a cocktail dinner at the Rooftop 52 (69002 Lyon) with all the event participants: executives, students, faculty and staff members, organizational team. The winner of the challenges will then be awarded.
