2018 MOOC of the year: iaelyon is awarded the prize for the Best MOOC developed by a University/School

The 2nd edition of the award ceremony for the Mooc of the year organized on January 23rd 2018 in Paris rewarded the iaelyon – University Jean Moulin MOOC “The behavior of the B to B salesperson in the 2.0 era”. The collaborative dimension and more specifically the exchange of best practices between sales representatives seduced the jury.

Organized on the initiative of My Mooc, the platform which references thousands of MOOCs ranked by internet users, the MOOC of the year rewards each year during an outstanding ceremony the best features.

For this second edition, 10 prizes were awarded, 350 applications were sent among which 35 were nominated.

The ceremony rewarding the best MOOC in 2017 aims at: 
  • Gathering professionals from the sector of digital training 
  • Bringing together the creators and all the actors involved in order to forge bonds
  • Sharing common ideas and working together on the future of MOOC
  • Enlightening the most relevant trainings according to different criteria

MOOC: “The behavior of the B to B salesperson in the 2.0 timeframe”: more than 6000 people registered for the 2018 session

This training gives practical advice to salespersons especially those working in small and medium sized companies. Sales representatives are sometimes helpless when facing the digitalization of practices and business models: the MOOC answers concrete questions and allows to exchange on best practices. 

The MOOC relies on an alternate reality game which brings the participant to assume the role of a salesperson. Organized for the 1st time from January to March 2017, it attracted 1,102 effective participants for the 1st session, 80% of whom were professionals. 380 of them (34.5%) successfully finalized the MOCC and the course attendance certificate.
