Objectifs
This course addresses a range of cutting edge topics in responsible management practices, including: a systemic and leadership perspective on organising enterprise for performance, growth, and innovation; employee motivation and engagement; organisation culture; organisation and work system design; managing conflict; teamworking, influencing and coaching skills; while developing high ethical and moral standards in carrying responsibility for people, planet and profit.
The objectives are to initiate and develop systemic and practical knowledge and skills relevant to the functioning and performance of leadership and management in organizations, including attention to globalisation, networks, stakeholders, and sustainability.
Estimation of private study (outside of contact hours): 20 hours
DIMENSION OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Social responsibility represents an important dimension of this course, looking at the quality of the relationship with all stakeholders. The course will also evaluate practical applications for socially responsible and sustainable organizations which are found in innovative socioeconomic concepts and principles like Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental-Social-Governance (ESG) performance, Social Entrepreneurship, Business Ethics and Social Marketing.
TARGETED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Develop capacities to apply a critical and systemic analysis to management practices in a context of rising standards of social, environmental and economic responsibility.
Attain a first level of knowledge about innovative socioeconomic concepts and principles like Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental-Social-Governance (ESG) performance, Triple bottom-line, Social Entrepreneurship, Business Ethics and Social Marketing.

Interactive teaching which activates student's critical thinking in relation to the material taught, including self-assessment/personal development activities, group work, and role plays. The aim is to enhance reflective practitioner capabilities, and in particular to enhance self, other, and situational awareness and the ability to make informed choices.
