Objectifs

Organizational Behavior is a comprehensive course that explores the dynamics of human behavior within organizations. It provides students with an understanding of how individuals, groups, and structures interact within the workplace, and how these interactions impact organizational effectiveness. Through the study of various theories, models, and concepts, students gain insights into topics such as motivation, leadership, communication, teamwork, decision-making, and organizational culture. The course also examines the role of diversity, ethics, and social responsibility in shaping organizational behavior. By analyzing real-world case studies and engaging in interactive exercises, students develop critical thinking skills and learn practical strategies for managing and leading individuals and teams in diverse organizational settings. Ultimately, this course equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of human behavior in the workplace and contribute to the success of organizations. During this course, you will also be encouraged to engage in personal reflection and introspection to apply the different concepts to your reality, and therefore help you make informed decisions for your future.

DIMENSION OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The corporate social responsibility (CSR) aspect of Organizational Behavior plays a vital role in shaping the ethical and socially responsible practices of organizations. CSR encompasses the actions and initiatives undertaken by companies to contribute positively to society and the environment. Within the realm of Organizational Behavior, CSR involves integrating socially responsible practices into the fabric of an organization's culture, values, and decision-making processes. This includes promoting diversity and inclusion, ensuring fair and ethical treatment of employees, engaging in sustainable business practices, and actively supporting local communities and charitable causes. By prioritizing CSR, organizations not only enhance their reputation and stakeholder relationships but also contribute to the overall well-being of society while aligning their actions with ethical and moral principles.
