Objectifs

This course addresses a range of cutting edge topics in organisational behaviour and personal development, including: a systemic perspective on organising enterprise for performance, growth, and innovation; employee motivation and engagement; organisation culture; organisation and work system design; managing conflict; teamworking, influencing and coaching skills; and personal career anchors.

The objectives are to deepen and develop further systemic and practical knowledge and skills relevant to the functioning and performance of organisations and to the behaviour of individuals and groups within them, including attention to globalisation, networks, stakeholders, and sustainability.

Interactive teaching which activates student's professional experience and critical thinking in relation to the material taught, including self-assessment/personal development activities, group work, and role plays. The aim is to enhance reflective practitioner capabilities, and in particular to enhance self, other, and situational awareness and the ability to make informed choices.
