Goals

This course is designed for students who are interested in knowing the culture, reality of commerce and intercultural management in the context of Latin America, the Caribbean and Spain and their relationship with other non-Spanish speaking countries.
The course implies an intermediate level knowledge of Spanish/Castilian.

TARGETED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

After this course, students will be able to:
  • Have a better understanding of Latin American & Spanish culture, reality and intercultural management.
  • Develop and integrate new strategies (marketing, trade, management) to apply in a Latin American market.
  • Improve their confidence when speaking Spanish because of an increase level of vocabulary and Fluidity (linked to trade, management, and general Spanish).

I.    Introduction to Cross Cultural Culture
II.    Cross-cultural Management
III.    Different subjects / case studies according to current Latin America reality & events.
IV.    Cross Cultural negotiation applied to Latin American countries & Spain.
