Once known as Ludgunum, the Capital of the Gauls, Lyon has now more than 500 hectares of the city listed as UNESCO World Heritage.
Start with Fourvière - the hill that prays- and its Basilica, its Roman theater & Odeon, continue to the “Vieux Lyon” (old Lyon) district and its 2 churches, 1 cathedral and narrow paved streets.
