Goals
International business requires a serious knowledge of cross-cultural relationships and management in order to work effectively and in harmony with foreign partners. This module will provide the students with examples coming from professional experience concerning cross-cultural management, with a focus put on 2 specific cultures: China and Finland.

Content
The content includes an approach of key concepts:
- Cross-cultural experience
- Cross-culturel management styles
- How to motivate people from another culture
- Decision-making process depending on cultures
- Culture and organisation (including company culture)
- Cross-cultural teamworking, recruiting policy, product adaptation
- Approach of Chinese and Finnish cultures (business etiquette, management style, negotiation, business meetings, socialisation)
- Case studies
