This immersive experience offered them the opportunity to broaden their perspectives by selecting one or two specialized courses, including High Performance Leadership, Development and Growth of SMEs, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, and Venture Capital & Startup Fundraising.
 
Throughout the program, the participants engaged in a dynamic mix of academic input and experiential learning. One student highlighted the added value of the experience:

The program is a great complement to what we study at iaelyon. It brings a different angle: hands-on work like the growth audits we conducted ourselves through direct interviews with local SMEs in Kingston, and the visit to a logistics company, RIF Worldwide Plc, to see real growth challenges up close.
During the SME growth week, we also had guest speakers Mandar Sontakke, Head of Business Development, and Ozge Yagci, a woman entrepreneur, who came to share their personal stories, and I found them truly inspiring.”

Among the highlights of the program was a discussion with Professor  Alex Hill, author of Centennials: The 12 Habits of Great, Enduring Organisations whose reflections on long-term organizational success offered valuable strategic insights.

The participants also appreciated an unexpected and enriching visit to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), illustrating the powerful intersection between creativity and structured performance.

Beyond the academic content, the Summer School fostered meaningful intercultural exchanges and networking opportunities. Interactions with an international cohort of peers have already led to promising new professional connections.
