Visiting Researcher: Luca Bonacini, Università del Piemonte Orientale (Italy)

He is joining the iaelyon Magellan Research Center as a Visiting Researcher from 1 to 30 July 2026 within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchanges.

Luca works on the BAC4SHC Project (Business Angels and Crowdinvestors for Startups’ Human Capital). The goal of the project is to deepen the understanding of CIs’ human capital contribution, investment behavior, and engagement in female entrepreneurship, green, and digital transitions.

Luca Bonacini is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Eastern Piedmont (Italy) since May 2025. His research lies in applied microeconomics, with a focus on income distribution, inequality of opportunity, and labor market dynamics, particularly in relation to education and gender disparities.

During his visit, he will collaborate with researchers at iaelyon on topics related to entrepreneurial finance, sustainability, and digital transition, contributing to the development of evidence-based recommendations for startups, investors and policymakers.
