BIGGER THAN US: screening and debate in the presence of Flore Vasseur

The first event of the cycle Les grandes conferences de l’iaelyon created in the framework of the 50-year Anniversary celebrations of Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. A screening preceded by a debate with the film-producer Flore Vasseur.

BIGGER THAN US is a 96- minute documentary film recorded in seven different countries and focusing on the fight of seven young activists who face the challeges of our times and decide to fight back in order to save their communities. Overall, this production is an ode to our world its beauty and to the youth for their courage and their desire to “live big”. 

Premiered at Cannes festival in July 2021 and broadcasted in 56 countries, the film has impacted an astonishing number of citizens. To this day, in France, hundreds of projections have been organized by teachers, school principals, CEOs, activists, children, who long for this conversation to happen with only one question in mind: “now, what can we do?”. 
BIGGER THAN US is more than a simple documentary. It is an adventure to share with each other and a tool to connect and educate ourselves with one another.
