Published on March 31, 2025 Updated on April 4, 2025

In the framework of the APAIE (Asian-Pacific Association for International Education) conference, organized in New Delhi, the iaelyon Co-Assistant Deans for international development made a tour of the iaelyon Vietnamese and Thai historical partners in order to strengthen the partnership with Thuongmai University (Vietnam) and Thammasat University (Thailand).

The meetings with Thuongmai University and Thammasat University   were the perfect occasion to assess the existing exchange programs between the Universities and to analyze new academic and research collaboration opportunities.
This partnerships’ tour was also a good opportunity to encounter new local actors and to open the doors to future collaborations while strengthen the relations with South-Eastern Asia.

The APAIE, an important conference

The iaelyon presence at the APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education) in New Delhi which theme is “Cultivating Global Citizens for the Future: The Higher Education Imperative in the Asia Pacific and Beyond.” was the highest point of this program. This conference brings together around 2500 participants representing several Higher Education entities from all around the world.

Besides strengthening the partnership with our international partners, the participation on the conference allows participants to exchange on the best academic, mobility and CSR practices.

This partnership’s tour is part of our global strategy aiming at improving the students’ international mobility experiences and offering them an academic experience with an enriching multicultural context.
This program embodies the iaelyon engagement in shaping world citizens, ready to think in a socially responsible manner and eager to take up the challenges of a globalized work environment.”.
