From April 25th to 28th, 25 students in Master 2 in e-Marketing and Digital Communication had the opportunity to visit Budapest. It was the opportunity for the students, their Academic Director Sonia Capelli and their Program administration officer to find out more about the Hungarian culture and discover the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, partner university of iaelyon.

Building a project to widen their knowledge of European culture

To fund this trip, the students carried out several initiatives: selling school year sweatshirts, selling crêpes, an online fund-raiser: many actions that made this study trip possible.
Co-designed with their Academic Director, the program allowed them to discover the cultural and heritage wealth of the Hungarian capital.

The days were organized around several visits: Budapest's Great Synagogue, the House of Terror, which traces the history of Hungary's fascist and communist regimes, and the Light Art Museum, one of the world's largest museums of light art.

During their stay, the students attended two courses ('Marketing in Global Markets' and 'Service Design: Planning Customer Journey') at the prestigious Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The opportunity for them to add an international dimension to their studies, as nowadays digital marketing requires a "borderless" approach to understand other cultures and professional practices.

As future experts in digital communications, the students produced a variety of content for social networks. It was an enriching stay, culturally, educationally and socially, as this "out-of-the-walls" experience enabled them to forge strong bonds within the class.
