With 152 international partners, iaelyon sends over 230 students around the world each year. Students are our best ambassadors and by studying abroad they not only learn independence, flexibility and interculturality but they also carry with them iaelyon’s values: open to the world, critical thinking and diversity.

2021-2022

239 students went abroad (178 Bachelor, 48 Master & 21 gap year) in North America, Asia, Latin America, Australia, Middle-East and in Europe.

2022-2023

270 students will go abroad with a high increase of mobilities in Asia.

From our students:

Marie, Toronto, Canada
My mobility at the University of Toronto was a turning point. I was able to improve my English, access to outstanding education in a renowned university and meet new people. Adapting in an unknown environment brings its share of challenges but I’m grateful for everything it taught me. Today, I feel ready to work in an English-speaking environment and all I want to do is: go back abroad.

Thomas, Istanbul, Turkey
During my gap year (between Master 1 and Master 2), I studied during one semester in Instanbul at Bilgi University! I really loved the city and Turkey in general. I was able to travel for a month in the South East and West of the country. Turkey is safe, the landscapes are diverse and incredible, people are welcoming and curious and life not too expensive. Bilgi University is big. There is a large community of international students with whom you can exchange and enjoy.

Camille, Bamberg, Germany
I had the opportunity to spend my Master 2 year at Otto-Friedrich Universität Bamberg, in Germany, within the framework of the double degree program between Bamberg and iaelyon. Being able to chose my own curriculum online made the experience very enriching because it allowed me to specialize in what interested me the most. I liked the courses that required students to be invested. Support from professors and staff was perfect. Beyond the academic aspect, Bamberg’s living environment is exceptional – the city is beautiful, serene and human-sized.
