Visiting professor: Jesper Strandgaard, Copenhagen Business School

Jesper Strandgaard Pedersen will teach at iaelyon during from January 23 to January 27 for the Doctoral School of Economics and Management on the theme “Research Methodology in organization and management analyses”.

Jesper Strandgaard is a Professor and PhD at Copenhagen Business School, where he also serves as Director of Imagine, a Creative Industries Research Centre.  He is a visiting professor in various universities: Stanford University, Harvard University, Boston College, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE).

His general research interest focuses on organizational and institutional stability and change, institutional action and agency, industry emergence and field structuring and organizational identity construction and legitimacy. His most recent research focuses on cultural and market intermediaries and evaluative practices in the fields of film and gastronomy.
His research has been published in various international journals and co-authored books such as The Negotiation of Values in the Creative Industries: Fairs, Festivals and Competitive Events, (2011) Cambridge University Press and Managing Cultural Festivals – Traditions and Innovation in Europe, (2022) Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group.
