Visiting professor: Professional Identity and Role Change in Times of Adversity - By Corentin CURCHOD, University of Edinburgh Business School

A seminar organized by the Research Groupe “Strategy” at the Magellan iaelyon Research Center and lectured by Corentin Curchod, Associate professor of Strategic Management and Organization at the University of Edinburgh Business School.

Corentin Curchod is a visiting professor at iaelyon from March 12th to 14th.

He will lead the seminar named "Professional Identity and Role Change in Times of Adversity: Pharmacists’ quest of their self during the covid-19 pandemic". 


More about Corentin Churchod:

Corentin Curchod joined the University of Edinburg Business School on July 2019. He graduated at the École Polytechnique in France. Before joining the University of Edinburg, he worked at the department of strategy and international business at the University of Nottingham and previous to that at the strategy department of the Audencia Business School in Nantes. Corentin Curchod has already been rewarded twice for his notorious and excellent teaching practices by the pro-vice-chancellor for education and student life at the University of Nottingham (2017 and 2019). In 2021 he was among the finalists of the award for innovation at the University of Edinburg. 

Research:

Curentin Curchod’s researches combine questions related to identity, power and governance in relation with market analysis and technological development. His work is a mixture of sociological and strategical theories, reflecting the challenges of work practices and market governance in a highly competitive world. He reflects on the influence of online platforms, physical markets and the way the social actors manage the tensions between all of these aspects.
