As part of the Merging research project, European program H2020, Professor Ana Sales Ten is welcomed by the Magellan Research Center – iaelyon from September 19th to November 21st 2022.
A social worker and a graduate in sociology, Ana Sales Ten holds a PhD in Social Sciences at the University of Valencia. She is a FullProfessor at the department of Social Work and Services, and a speaker in the inter-university Master’s degree in development cooperation. She leads the Specialization in Evaluation and Project Management of the International Development Cooperation Projects.
She is a researcher at the Local Development University Institute where she is Secretary, attached to the INNODES Research Group. Her main areas of research at the national and international level are:

• Immigration, cultural diversity and human rights
• Development cooperation
• Social cohesion and social services in local development
• Management and intervention policies for vulnerable groups and those at risk of exclusion

During his stay at the Magellan Research Center, Ana Sales Ten works in collaboration with Catherine Mercier-Suissa and Noémie Dominguez, leaders of the Merging Project.
