International Cooperation: a fruitful meeting with Shanghai University
On the occasion of the International meetings of French-speaking countries, organized by Jean Moulin University Lyon 3 in early December in China, new areas of cooperation with Shanghai University, partner of Jean Moulin University Lyon 3 since 2014, were discussed. Silvia Didier, Co-Assistant Dean for International Development at iaelyon, was part of the Lyon delegation.
Asia is one of the priority areas for cooperation developments. The exchanges with Shanghai University, particularly its business school, as well as with the French Consulate and the French Alliance, have been particularly promising."

For iaelyon, the primary goal is to strengthen academic and professional partnerships in the field of entrepreneurship, especially through the Graduate School International Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Society whose aim is to train researchers in entrepreneurship who carry out innovative, international projects with societal impact (climate, health, biodiversity, greencity, smartcity, etc.).
"The entrepreneurial ecosystem in China, and especially in Shanghai, remains very dynamic, despite a more challenging economic situation," continues Silvia Didier. "Sustainable development is also a key issue, which is why our partners showed particular interest in our Master's program in Entrepreneurship EDEN and our Master 2 in Sustainable Management for International Business."
Cooperation in the field of research could also be developed within the CREATE Entrepreneurship team.
“This opportunity was initiated during the meeting of the International Network of Senghor Chairs last October at Jean Moulin University Lyon 3, which I had the chance to attend. I am pleased to see that it has led to fruitful meetings and discussions, paving the way for future collaborations that, I have no doubt, will mutually enrich us, particularly within the framework of iaelyon’s Graduate School. Thanks to our Vice-President for International Relations, Manuel Jobert, and Silvia Didier, Co-Dean of International Relations at iaelyon, for these significant advancements."
