“Opera and Leadership”: Music is universal and powerful. Workshop organized by the iaelyon Executive International MBA, open to the IMBA Alumni.
During this workshop you will find out what you – as a manager and leader – can learn from a collective high performance environment like opera.

The professional opera singer, Caroline MacPhie uses opera as a vehicle to help business leaders to create deeper engagement, empower young talent, and enhance public speaking skills.Her voice has charmed audiences throughout the world but it's her ability to integrate art and business that sets her apart. Caroline MacPhie leverages the power of her experience as an opera singer to help businesses find their voice, connect with their employees and clients, and create memorable experiences.
For several years she has worked with a wide range of companies through her unique interventions on themes such as potential, high performance, team cohesion and communication. Her signature keynote lecture uses opera as a powerful tool to convey concrete strategies that enhance engagement, boost team performance, and foster individual well-being.
British and residing in Lyon since 2017, Caroline MacPhie studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music. She won first prize in the Emmy Destinn Award in Prague and was a selected artist for the highly regarded Young Classical Artists Trust in London. As a soprano, she has performed as a soloist on stages such as the Royal Opera House and Opéra National de Lyon.
On December 13th,2024 Caroline MacPhie will meet the IMBA students and Alumni to share her knowledge and insights.
Program:
- 2 pm: Welcome of the participants at the iaelyon
- 2:15 pm: Introduction to the workshop
- 2:15- 5 pm: Live session with Caroline MacPhie
- 5 – 6 pm: The IMBA Alumni networking moment
As an IMBA Alumni your participation is free, but an individual registration is mandatory
Places are limited and will be attributed on a first come – first served-basis.
THE EXECUTIVE INTERNATIONAL MBA
The iaelyon Exectivive MBA is a unique executive program, entirely taught in English over 11 months. International guest speakers, professors and practitioners come to share their knowledge and expertise with a culturally diverse classroom.
