iaelyon School of Management, University Jean Moulin Lyon 3 is taking part in an Erasmus + project KA220 (Cooperation partnership in higher education) led by its Hungarian partner, the University of Szeged. The Foundation for Africa as well as Stucom Centre d'Estudis are also involved.

The project entitled IDEC PBL (International Development Cooperation - Project Based Learning) has started on December 1, 2022 and will be carried out on 30 months. The aim of the 3 year-long collaboration is to improve the quality of education by integrating project-based learning as an active learning component. The project will result in the creation of an online simulation game (serious game) on the theme of international development cooperation aid, with a specific focus on Africa. The serious game will be implemented within the curriculum of all the academic partners involved.

The kick-off meeting was held in Szeged on January 17th and 18th and gathered all the partners involved in the project who presented the work packages they were responsible for. It was also the opportunity to gain insight on the questions of international aid, and aid activity in Africa and to further discuss the organization, content of the project and dissemination activities.
We would like to thank the team at Szeged for hosting us and inviting us to join the project.
