The 7th edition of the iaelyon International MBA study trip was organized for the second time at Kingston University on July 6 and 7, 2023. The opportunity for the International MBA participants to immerse themselves in the Executive MBA program of one of iaelyon historical partner.

IMBA students had the opportunity to take part in an innovative 2-day "Leadership Lab" seminar organized by Pauline Parker, Director of the MBA program at Kingston Business School, focusing on process automation strategies from a managerial point of view.

After an introduction on automation by Arif Khan (UiPath), Pierre-Frédéric Barriere (Chanel, London) spoke more specifically about process mining. Participants also received feedback from Christopher Parker (NexBotix) and Danny Maylin (Tquila Automation), and put theory into practice through a process development for automating repetitive tasks conceived by UiPath. The day ended with a case study in which participants were asked to consider possible automation solutions for an international SME.

A dinner on the Thames gathered the iaelyon students, the MBA director - Silvia Didier - and the seminar organizers.

“For the second time, iaelyon International MBA students had the opportunity to participate to the Leadership Lab organized by Kingston Business School. The exchanges, learning experience and networking have been intense and enriching. The seminar is an excellent addition to iaelyon program and allows participants to immerse themselves in an international environment by going to a neighboring country".

Silvia Didier, MBA Director

“It was a very enriching 2- day experience that allowed me to better understand how IA and RPA could help each organization to improve its processes and increase the added value of its employees. All this on the wonderful campus of Kingston University. I would like to warmly thank the Kingston team for its hospitality.”

Vincent Boitte, 2023 IMBA Student

" The experience was very interesting as it allows to take a step back from the IMBA and to study a new subject in an extended multicultural environment with students and executives from different backgrounds. It was a great way to finish the IMBA academic year and I came back with ideas for my thesis and for my company. I found the case study on how to sell RPA solutions and the practical part on building a robot very interesting.”

Delphine Talbi, 2023 IMBA Student
